Gordon Shield - Qualifiers
RGB Sport is proud to introduce the Gordon Shield, our Low-intermediate Padel tournament, recommended for Padel players ranked below 3.25. This opportunity to compete to represent your club offers the perfect mix of competitive and social Padel. What can you expect at each qualifier?
Up to 32 teams competing.
2+ hours of match time guaranteed. Group stage and knockout format.
Recommended for players ranked below a 3.25. (All rankings are based off the Playtomic ranking system which can be found here - https://playerhelp.playtomic.com/hc/en-gb/articles/19831827459345-The-Playtomic-Levels-ups-downs.)
The top 2 teams will advance to the finals day in July, where they will compete against the winners and runners-up of the other competing clubs around the South-East of England.
£48 per person
Generous prizes for the top 3 teams. Up to £250 to be won, padel equipment, and a cost-free invitation to the inaugral Gordon Shield Final’s day on the 11th July 2026.
Gordon Shield - SE England Finals Day 2026
RGB Sport is proud to shine the spotlight on some of the South-East of England’s most established Padel Club’s as their representative duos go head to head. The Gordon Shield is our Low-Intermediate Padel tournament, recommended for Padel players ranked below 3.0.
All winners and runners-up of their respective qualifiers will represent their Padel Clubs.
This Final’s Day league format consists of a group stage, with the top 2 teams from each group advancing to the knockout stages.
All group matches will be best of two sets. In the event it’s one set apiece, a tie break will determine the winner. Knockout matches will be best of 3 sets.
The winners will bring home the Gordon Shield to their Padel Club, alongside a generous prize fund for the winners, runners up, and the winners of the third/fourth playoff.
